Member Information Directory To access sponsor reports for each member of the Legislature and rosters for the House and Senate, make the choice for Member (Gopher) or Member Reports and Rosters (Web). The Public Access System has rosters for both houses that list the member's Olympia phone number, party, district number, and Olympia office. There are also lists of members' committee assignments, in member and committee order. Both houses also provides lists of those members with Internet e-mail addresses. Under FTP the Member directory contains a Sponsor subdirectory under which there are 3 subdirectories: House, Senate, and Sponsor. Under the House and Senate subdirectories are member rosters for each chamber, committee rosters by member and committee, and a list of members who have Internet addresses. The following instructions explain how to retrieve a roster report using FTP. cd/pub/member/senate get senate_committees_by_committee get senate_committees_by_member get senate_members_and_leg_asst get senate_internet_addresses cd/pub/member/house get house_committees_by_committee get house_committees_by_member get house_internet_addresses Under the Sponsor subdirectory are three more subdirectories -- for the House, Senate, and Requesters. The House and Senate subdirectories contain the sponsor reports for each member of the selected chamber. In the Requester subdirectory are current sponsor reports for the various groups that have requested legislation. On the Web, the five choices are all up on the Member Reports and Rosters menu. Each member's report is arranged in bill number order. For each bill, the report lists the description and the current status and date the bill entered that status as of the time the report was generated. If the member is the primary sponsor for the bill, an "@" appears before the description. The following instructions explain how to retrieve a sponsor report using FTP. Make the choice for Legislative Info, then Member Reports and Rosters. The House and Senate provide additional member information via their home pages. At the LEGInfo home page, click the button for House or Senate Home Page; on the subsequent page, click the button for Members. The page provides statewide, area, and district maps to help you identify the district you live in. Each member has a home page, which includes a link to the district map, the member's biography, and, if available, a link to the member's e-mail.
