User Support Two types of support are available to individuals seeking legislative information. First, online help files are available. These files can be accessed through FTP (look for README files) or Web menus. These files provide such information as a description of the legislative process, file and directory information, naming conventions, legislative glossaries, details about system downtime, and instructions for downloading files. There are also help files for many of the lower-level directories. These help files contain specific information on the contents of the associated directory. An electronic mail (e-mail) address is also available for clients to send questions and comments: support@leg.wa.gov. This account is intended to provide help with accessing legislative data. It is not intended to provide assistance with connecting to and gaining access to the Internet. For questions relating to getting on the Internet, please contact your service provider. Numerous books and articles are also available. This address is for those with comments or questions regarding the LEGInfo service. *It is not for sending messages to the members of the Legislature. Messages for members sent to the Support account will not reach them.* Refer to the member rosters or members' home pages for the e-mail addresses of Representatives and Senators.
