What Information Is Available


The Washington State Legislature's Public
Access System provides access, for the
current biennium and the immediately preceding
biennium, to legislative information found
in bills (all versions, including session laws),
amendments, bill reports, bill digests
(including veto messages), bill histories,
sponsor reports, House and Senate rosters,
roll calls on bills, legislative and committee
schedules, the Revised Code of Washington
(RCW), the Washington Administrative Code (WAC),
the Washington State Constitution, the Washington
State Register, and online informational (Help)
files.  The information is updated at the close
of business each day.

The information described above is accessible
via e-mail, FTP and the Web. The House, Senate,
and various legislative agencies have placed
additional information on the Legislature's
Web site (http://www.leg.wa.gov).  You may
also link to District Lookup, Other Information,
Kids Page, and Election Returns.

House:  Provides access to home pages for the
members of the House of Representatives and
House committees, as well as House
administrative information.

Senate:  Provides access to home pages for
the members of the Senate, Senate committees,
Senate administration, the Senate Democratic
Caucus, and the Senate Republican Caucus.

Legislative Agencies:  Provides access to
home pages of the following agencies (as of
December 11, 1998):  Joint Legislative Audit
and Review Committee, Joint Administrative
Rules Review Committee, Legislative Evaluation
and Accountability Program, Legislative
Transportation Committee, the Legislative
Ethics Board, the Office of the Code Reviser,
and the Washington State Institute for Public
Policy.

Other Information:  Provides access to home
pages for other state information, such as
the symbols of Washington State, the State
Constitution, the Capitol Campus, and tourist
information.

District Lookup: Allows you to determine what
district you live in and who represents that
district by entering your zip code. You can
link to district maps and members' home
pages.

Kids Page:  Provides information about the
Legislature of interest to kids.

Election Results:  Review the 1998 primary
and general election results by district or
view summary reports.
