The Legislative Service Center (LSC) located in Olympia, WA is a small state agency of approximately 50 employees. We support over 60 custom applications for the Washington State Legislature. Help Desk Consultant
Help Desk Consultant
LSC is seeking a full-time customer support consultant to join our Help Desk team. This individual should be passionate about both customer service and information technology.
Incumbents frequently perform the following duties:
Help Desk Support
—Responds
to customer calls, either verbally or as dispatched to customer offices; logs, checks, and closes calls and direct service requests in a timely and accurate manner; and participates in Help Desk shift rotations as assigned. Provides support for district offices with remote connectivity issues, including VPN, Terminal Services, etc.
Direct Customer Support
—R
esponds to customer requests for computer assistance; participates in computer, printer, and software installations and upgrades; and other projects as assigned.
Software Development Projects
—Shares customer knowledge by participating in software development projects, including requirements gathering, UI development,
testing, and documentation as needed.
Special Projects
—Performs
other duties as assigned by the CSG supervisors and manager.
