Issue/Question
Under what circumstances, if at all, may a staff person disclose information about a specific drafting request?
Summary
Unauthorized disclosure of a confidential drafing request, or the identity of the person making the request, is a violation of the Act.  RCW 42.52.010(6) and 42.52.050(3).  Limited disclosure is permissible, subject to the limitations set forth in the this opinion.
