Issue/Question
Legislator/nurse is invited to participate in a medical mission to Russia.  The sponsor has no legislative presence in Washington and the legislator represents she would be traveling as a health care professional.  Issue involves a trip by a legislator paid for with non-legislative funds.
Summary
The trip would not violate the Act.  The trip is related to the legislator's outside business and is not related to the performance of official legislative duties.  RCW 42.52.010(9)(b).
