Topic
Conflict of interest - county employment - filing
Respondent
Rep. Kip Tokuda

Alleged that the respondent should have filed information with the Board about his employment with King County so the Board could have previewed the employment relationship and analyzed for conflict of interest and that the employment was a conflict of interest.
Summary
Filing requirements of RCW 42.52.120 only apply to employment with state agencies, not county government. This allegation dismissed on jurisdictional grounds. No facts to suggest a conflict of interest. RCW 42.52.020. Dismissed.
