Sydney Odell, North Thurston High School, serves as House page

Olympia -- Sydney Odell, a freshman at North Thurston High School, served as a page in the Washington State House of Representatives on opening week of the Legislature, Jan. 8-12. She was sponsored by Rep. Tom Campbell (R-Roy). Sydney is the daughter of Susan Hendrickson of Lacey. Pages serve for one week in the Legislature assisting legislators and staff. They perform a variety of tasks, including distributing bills and amendments to members on the House floor, running errands and, sometimes, presenting the flags in the daily opening of session.
