A number of resources are available to complement classroom visits
- For middle and high school students, legislators may use a 16-minute video, "Your Ideas Count," and/or a leave-behind pamphlet, "Your Ideas Count, Questions and Answers About Representative Democracy." For more information about these materials, contact either of the Back to School Coordinators.
- Lesson plans for elementary, middle, and high school students.
- Time for Kids has distributed an extra edition "Your Ideas Count." Elementary school teachers who subscribe might want to save this edition to use in conjunction with the legislator’s visit. A limited number of copies are available from the Back to School Coordinators.
